KS Min kommune and e-dialog have been developed for Norwegian municipalities and county municipalities and are administered by KS Digital.

The municipality is the data controller

The individual municipality is responsible for the processing of your personal data that appears on min.kommune.no and that is sent through e-dialog. For further details, see your municipality's privacy policy, which can be found on its website.

KS Min kommune (KS My Municipality) is used by municipalities and county municipalities. E-dialog is also used by other public enterprises. When we write 'the municipality', we mean all public enterprises that use the services.

1. Introduction

This privacy policy describes how we, as data controller, process personal data in connection with the e-dialog and KS Min kommune services. We at KS Digital are committed to safeguarding your privacy and complying with the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Description of services

2.1 E-dialog is a service that securely submits letters via the SvarInn service, (which is part of SvarUt), to the individual data controller municipality's preferred recipient system.

2.2 KS Min kommune offers residents and businesses access to public information. The municipalities activate various integrations, including to SvarUt, in order to offer residents access to all correspondence sent by the municipality and other relevant information. The municipality controls what data a resident (or representative of a business) has access to through KS Min kommune.

4. Data controller and data protection officer

The individual municipality is the data controller for the personal data processed in e-dialog and KS Min kommune. The individual municipality's data protection officer is responsible for monitoring and guiding the municipality in data protection matters. 5. Personal data and the purpose for processing

5.1 For e-dialog, we process personal data that is necessary for providing the service, including name, contact details and the content of the letter sent through the service. The purpose is to ensure safe and efficient submission of letters to the individual municipality's recipient system.

5.2 For KS Min kommune, we process personal data such as name, contact details and any interactions with public information. The purpose is to offer access to public information and to communicate with residents regarding correspondence.

6. Recipients of personal data

The personal data we process in e-dialog and KS Min kommune is only shared with the individual data controller municipality and their preferred recipient system. We do not share the personal data with other parties, unless we are required to do so by law or with the consent of the data subject.

We store the personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purpose of the processing or as required by law. We have implemented the necessary technical and organizational security measures to protect the personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, deletion or disclosure.
